Math: Factor Tag

We're trying to get outside as often as possible before the changing seasons chase us indoors. One favorite way to get outdoors and active is "factor tag."

Creating "factor rainbows" to prep for Factor Tag

In factor tag, each student is assigned a number (which they wear on their clothing). We arrange ourselves on the playground, then a teacher calls out a number, for example, 6.

If 6 is a factor of your number, RUN! You're being chased!

If 6 isn't a factor of your number, you chase after everyone else and tag as many as possible. When tagged, you must freeze, usually in as ridiculous of a pose as possible.
